March 01, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded the contract to design and install a breathing air system at Shaw AFB. This system will support the breathing air needs of the personnel working in the newly installed AFG Abrasive Blast Booth, F-16 paint booth, and support shop within the corrosion control hangar.
March 01, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded the contract to design, and install a new compressed air system for Shaw AFB. This compressed air system will provide tool air for the newly installed AFG blast booth, F-16 paint booth, abrasive blast cabinets, and supporting shops in the hangar.
February 23, 2017: Shaw AFB Abrasive Blast Booth all completed with full-floor recovery, AFG's recovery floor slide gate system, two (2) integrated personnel air showers, with a dirty clean walkway for the operators.

February 23, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded the contract to install
a new breathing air system for the Ohio Air National Guard at Mansfield Ohio.
The new breathing air system will support the operators using their newly installed
AFG GEN-5 Abrasive Blast Booth.
February 17, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded a five-year contract to maintain the Corrosion Control Facility at Little Rock AFB.
This maintenance contract covers the C-130 Paint Booth, Abrasive Blast Booth, Blast Cabinets, Small Parts Paint Booth, Air Handling Equipment, and Aircraft Wash Racks.
February 17, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded the contract at Travis AFB to assist in the implementation of the new Corrosion Control Laser Strippers.
Aerospace Facilities Group will modify two of Travis AFB small paint booths to accommodate the stripping Lasers.
February 17, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was awarded the contract to replace the compressor systems at Dyess AFB in support of the B-1 bomber maintenance program.
We will be installing two (2) 50-hp tool air compressors to support the B-1 paint booth
January 31, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group was chosen to supply the Canadian
National Defense (CND) with 15 of our GEN-3 Abrasive Blast Cabinets. Each cabinet
will have our Micro-Flow™ metering valve for smooth and precise metering of the blast media
while blasting.
The operators will be able to adjust the flow of the media right from the front of the GEN-3 while utilizing the blast cabinet.
January 27, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group getting ready to pour the pit floor for the Ohio Air National Guard in Mansfield Ohio. AFG is installing a completely new Abrasive Blast Booth and Reclaim system for the unit.

January 27, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group finished the pit for the new Shaw AFB
Abrasive Blast Booth. This pit will house the full-floor media recovery unit allowing the activity
to blast and reclaim the media automatically. This AFG system saves man-hours (no shoveling or sweeping) and provides for a clean and safe way for the operator to recover the used media.
The next step is to install the recovery floor and blast booth and related AFG equipment.
January 14, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group (AFG) was awarded the contract to maintain the UAV sunshades at Creech AFB in Nevada. These shelters protect the MQ-1 Predator and the MQ-9 Reaper UAVs from the harsh Nevada sun. Just another way Aerospace Facilities Group is providing complete corrosion control for our military operations.

January 13, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group (AFG) manufacturing the abrasive blast room for Shaw AFB.
The blast room equipment doors are being assembled and fitted in our shop to ensure the fit and finish
of the equipment prior to arriving at the base for our install crews.
All of our equipment is assembled, tested, and checked in our shop prior to anything going out
the door to the customer to ensure quality throughout.
January 13, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group (AFG) installing the abrasive blast recovery pit for Shaw AFB full-recovery floor system. The recovery pit will be concrete so the recovery floor will be flush with the existing hangar floor to eliminate the need for ramps to move items in and out of the blast room. Once the concrete is poured, the floor system can be installed along with the new blast room
January 11, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group (AFG) just finished installing a new GEN-3 abrasive blast cabinet at NAS Pensacola Florida. This GEN-3 went to the US Air Force training section at the Pensacola NAS.
The Air Force section at Pensacola NAS trains new airmen going into the corrosion control field for the Air Force in abrasive blasting and painting process for the Air Force.
The new cabinet features our 36" internal turntable, AFG "Blast Armor" to protect the inside of the cabinet, blast hose entry kit, and our ergo-kit, which includes the padded arm support, and cabinet knee impression, which allows the operator to sit at the cabinet while blasting.
AFG was proud to be chosen to provide the blast equipment for these new airmen to learn prior to going to their duty assignments around the world.
January 06, 2017: Aerospace Facilities Group (AFG) at Shaw AFB SC, saw cutting the hangar floor for their new AFG abrasive blast media recovery system. The new recovery floor will sit below grade allowing the use of the booth without the aid of ramps to get in and out of the booth, as was the case with their older Pauli Systems booth.
AFG is also providing a new blast booth, abrasive blast equipment, personnel air showers, and a cleanroom for changing out of their work clothes prior to leaving the hangar.

December 29, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to supply Lemoore Naval Air Station with a sanding booth to facilitate the on-going maintenance of the FA-18 fighter jet fleet at Lemoore NAS CA.
The Sanding Booth includes heavy-duty curtains, HEPA filtration, and re-circulation ducting.
December 15, 2016: Little Rock AFB received their new abrasive blast media recovery system. AFG's floor recovery system replaced the older Pauli Systems style floor recovery system.
December 15, 2016: Selfridge AFB just received their new GEN-3 abrasive blast cabinets. The pictured cabinet is lined with our patented "Blast Shield Armor" to help protect the cabinet and cyclone separator from wear while using aggressive media.
October 05, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. replacing the aircraft sunshade material at Creech AFB Nevada. Another project showing AFG's commitment to total aircraft corrosion control.
September 29, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to replace the older Pauli Systems blast booth media recovery system with our GEN-5 state-of-the-art blast booth media recovery system utilizing our slide gates and auto-controller system. This system eliminates the need for miles of recovery hose associated with the Pauli Systems recovery.

September 27, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to clean and mitigate the Hexavalent Chromium in Dock-3 at Beale AFB. This hangar was used for sanding and painting of the U-2 and Global hawk. This clean up will allow Beale AFB to better utilize this hangar for future use in the U-2 and Global hawk programs.
September 27, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to provide the Ohio Air National Guard in Mansfield Ohio and new Abrasive Blast Booth. AFG will be replacing the Pauli System booth/equipment with our state-of-the-art blasting equipment.
The booth includes a recessed full-floor recovery system, dust collection system, abrasive blast generator, storage hopper, and cyclone separator.
September 26, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to provide Shaw AFB with a new Abrasive Blast Booth and two-personnel air showers for De-contamination after leaving the blast booth to help mitigate the Hexavalent Chromium contamination in the hangar area.
AFG will be replacing the Pauli Systems blast equipment with our state-of-the-art equipment including a recessed full-recovery floor recessed into the concrete so there will be no need for ramps or man-door platforms.
September 23, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to supply Selfridge AFB with one of our GEN-3 Abrasive Blast Cabinets. The cabinet will have a full Ergo kit and our Blast Armor to protect the cabinet and cyclone separator.
September 16, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to supply Beale AFB with two (2) of our GEN-3 ERGO Abrasive Blast Cabinets in support of the U-2 and the Global Hawk program.
September 14, 2016: Aerospace Facilities Group, Inc. was awarded the contract to supply the Pennsylvania ANG in Harrisburg, PA with one of our GEN-3 Abrasive Blast Cabinets to include our ERGO kit and our "Blast Armor" cabinet and cyclone lining for use with aggressive media.
